Established in 1851 by the French Marist religious order, Mission Estate Winery is New Zealand's oldest winery. It is internationally regarded as a producer of superb quality wines. The Mission has been developed around the beautifully refurbished historical seminary building, with magnificent views overlooking the Greenmeadows’ vineyard and Napier city.

In the fine dining restaurant, excellent service, quality seasonal produce and award-winning wines combine to create a truly memorable experience. The reception venue, The Chapel, with its high vaulted ceilings and arched windows, is a beautiful and dramatic venue for a wedding. It is fully self-contained with its own bar facilities, with French doors opening onto the Terrace and Lawn, the perfect area for pre-dinner canapes and drinks.
